How ShadowDeck™ SuperSpan Aluminium SubFraming System Works
ShadowDeck™ SuperSpan is an innovative aluminium framing system which can be used with decking and tiles. The clever design lets you change from tiles to decking without changing your framing.
Just flip the aluminium joist and insert the fasteners for tiles or a nail free timber solution.
Floating Aluminium Deck Frame Layouts
The flipp’N click™ aluminium framing system has key advantages over traditional timber framing options. The system’s simplicity and lightweight design ensures that even apprentices can quickly master it, making it an efficient and user-friendly option for construction projects. A key feature is the ability to click the frame directly into self-levelling Nurajack head, this feature significantly speeds up installation, making it 80% faster than using timber. The patented aluminium framing is designed with strength in mind to give a wide span between jacks while still offering an incredibly stable surface.
Joist Layout
Designed with spaces with low clearance in mind. The Joists are clipped directly into a Nurajack at 1200 Centres.
Joist & Bearer Layout
Designed to be extra strong. The Joists are fixed to the bearer using the “Joist to Bearer Side Clips” and the Bearers are clipped into a Nurajack at 1200 centres.

Joist to Bearer Side Clip
Designed for ease of installation, offering the flexibility to be secured with or without screws. You simply turn the side clip into the bearer framing, which locks the edge of your joist framing securely in place. This design ensures a firm and stable connection between the joist and bearer enhancing the overall structural integrity.
Joist/Bearer Framing Joiner
This component is designed to join and extend your framing or bearer aluminium lengths efficiently. The joiner allows you to extend your framing as required, which makes it easier to adapt the framing to different project requirements, while reinforcing it for additional strength
Joist/Bearer Corner Bracket
Designed for creating 90-degree angle connections in the framing system. The bracket component easily slides inside the frame, and can quickly screw it in place through the pre-drilled bracket holes, ensuring that the screws are properly seated. Its simple installation process provides a secure and precise corner connection.
